Work With Me
What I Offer
I offer mentoring, training/talks, and consultancy, drawing on both my lived experience as an autistic person, and my professional background in autism, advocacy, education and inclusion.
I’m passionate about making information, support, and opportunities more accessible, particularly for people whose needs or experiences are often overlooked. Whether that’s helping a young person find their feet as they move into adulthood and explore independence, supporting a workplace to become more neuroinclusive, or developing resources around issues that deserve greater understanding, I really want my work to make a practical difference <3
I enjoy working collaboratively, value different ways of thinking and doing things, and believe that better support starts with listening to the people who actually experience the barriers we’re trying to address!
If something I’m doing resonates with you, or you have an idea for something we could work on together, I’d love to hear from you!
You can find out more info about working with me via the tabs below:
1:1 Neuro-affirming mentoring for neurodivergent young people and adults aged 15-25.
I offer individual mentoring for autistic and ADHD young people navigating the transition to adulthood. This might mean exploring identity, building self-understanding, navigating education or employment, developing strategies for everyday life, or working out what independence looks like for you.
My approach is informed by my own lived experience and recognises that support should work with you, not try to make you fit in someone else’s box! Even though sessions take place on a video call, there’ll never be any expectation to have your camera on, or to use verbal communication.
Current Prices:
- £60 per hour – these can be either 1hr or 2hr sessions, weekly or fortnightly.
You can find out more info about in the document linked below!
(Also group mentoring is in the pipeline! I’ll share more info about that via my mailing list and instagram once it is ready!)
Training & Talks
I deliver training and talks that bring lived experience into conversations about neurodivergence, accessibility, inclusion and the systems around us.
From helping workplaces better understand and support neurodivergent people to exploring less widely understood topics such as PMDD and AuDHD, I aim to make complex subjects accessible, challenge assumptions and give people practical strategies to take away.
Sessions can be tailored to your audience, organisation or area of interest. Feel free to get in touch via contact@kirstieincolour.co.uk
You can check out some of my past training webinars or appearances below:

I Join Rachel Crutcher from the PDA Society on their podcast to discuss supporting people with PMDD. This is a two part podcast, with Part 1 available to watch for free via their YouTube channel, and Part 2 is a more in depth conversation, for subscribers to their training hub.

Webinar: Supporting Young People who are Autistic and ADHD

Webinar: Supporting Autistic Young People With PMDD
A two-hour webinar exploring the links between PMDD, autism, ADHD, trauma and hormonal changes, with practical strategies for supporting autistic young people.
Consultancy & Collaboration
Sometimes making a difference means looking beyond individual support and changing the information, resources, services or systems people encounter.
I work with organisations and individuals on projects involving accessibility, advocacy, resource development, education and neuroinclusive practice. I’m also interested in collaborating on work around issues I’m passionate about, including mental health, suicide prevention, autistic young people’s experiences and topics that don’t always receive the attention they deserve.
If you have a project, a problem to solve, or an idea you’d like to develop, feel free to reach out and we can see what working together could look like!
You can also check out some of the advocacy projects that I have been involved with before:

Project: Autism Understood
Autism Understood is a website about autism, for autistic young people. The project has developed over time, from an accessible online library of information and articles, to a structured course for young people, alongside training that enables professionals to deliver the course in their own settings.

Project: Barriers to Education
Barriers to Education is a collaborative project working to improve understanding and support for young people who experience barriers to accessing education in a school setting. Bringing together professional expertise, lived experience and the voices of young people, the project challenges assumptions about school attendance and focuses on understanding what

Project: Young People’s Neuroprofiling Tool (NPTool)
The NeuroProfiling Tool (NPTool) is a quiz and resource designed to help young people better understand their own brains, recognise their strengths and challenges, and identify strategies and support that work for them. It takes a strengths-based, individualised approach to understanding how different brains work.
Have something a little different in mind?
Not every project fits neatly into a box! If you’re looking for a particular perspective, have an idea you’d like to explore, or think we could create something useful together, feel free to get in touch!
