Project: Barriers to Education

About the project:

Barriers to Education is a collaborative project working to improve understanding and support for young people who experience barriers to accessing education in a school setting. Bringing together professional expertise, lived experience and the voices of young people, the project challenges assumptions about school attendance and focuses on understanding what young people need to feel safe, supported and able to engage with learning. At its heart is the WARMTH framework, alongside practical guidance, tools and resources for young people, families and professionals.

My Involvement:

I was one of the main leads towards the end of the project, writing and editing copy for the website, creating graphics and designing the practical tools, and ensuring the website launched on schedule!
